BRIAN GAGE

Creative Director

After a 9-year stint with Klundt Hosmer Design in Spokane, WA in the early 90’s, Brian made the big move to the Portland/Vancouver area. He has worked with local design firms on projects for clients like Intel, Tektronix, Queen Anne Chocolates, Jeld Wen, and DigiMarc. Nationally, he created the branding for the show “Drive Thru History,” which can be seen currently on The History Channel International. Brian has a trained eye and a sharp mind for solutions that get results. The reigning king of bad puns, he’ll regularly keep you laughing... or not. Brian’s scope of experience includes: Art Direction, Print and Web Design, Photography, Sound and Video Production.

CALVIN CARL

Associate Designer

Calvin Carl recently completed his BFA at the Pacific Northwest College of Art with a degree in Intermedia. Calvin contributes vibrancy and energy to client projects through his passion for visual media and his attention to detail as a designer. Calvin has a passion for the arts and music... some might even say he’s rather ‘artsy.’ (Is that a compliment?) Calvin’s scope of experience includes: Print and Web Design, Fine Art, Illustration, HTML and CSS.

RYAN SCHROEDER

Associate Designer

Ryan Schroeder is a recent graduate of Oregon State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. Ryan loves clean, modern design and is most interested in finding unique solutions within identity systems, branding and illustration. When he’s not waist-deep in design, he’s usually waist-deep in powder, skiing until he drops dead tired below the white surface.

ELENA WILKEN

Associate Designer

Elena Wilken is an associate designer with an Associates degree from Mt. Hood College in Gresham, Oregon and another Associates degree from Babes-Boliay University in Romania. Elena provides excellent organizational and collaborative skill in addition to her keen design eye and feminine touch. Elena loves most of the music we play here. Just don’t play any Bjork... it makes her cranky. Elena’s scope of experience includes: Print and Web Design, and Illustration.

JEREMY WILSON

Technology Manager

Jeremy began his adventure into web development at the mature age of 12. Now, many years older and wiser, he has moved on from the world of marquees and tables into the even wilder world of web standards, accessibility, and cross-browser support. He is a master of XHTML, CSS, PHP, and has a firm grasp on many other languages and technologies, including SQL, Perl, Photoshop, C++, UNIX, and pure white SEO (he also knows his alphabet). He's spent the last 3 years in the ravaged trenches of corporate web development, but when he's not working, he enjoys whittling the hours away with a hot, steamy cup of joe while playing video games. Don't laugh at his photo... his mom still says he was a 'cute' kid.

ASHLEY SLOAN

Traffic Coordinator

Ashley risks her life daily in a valiant effort to keep projects from colliding or spinning out of control here at the office. A graduate of the University of Oregon, Ashley carries a BFA in Multimedia Design which fuels her ability to exist in the space between organization and design. She loves drinking Earl Grey tea and speaking Italian, which she will perform simultaneously upon request. Her ongoing creative endeavor revolves around the "Cute Project," which involves some extremely cute, if not mildly creepy, hand-sewn creatures.
